FAQ’S

Deposits

To confirm a booking the deposit of one nights tariff must be paid within 5 days by cheque or direct bank transaction.  Balance payment 7 days prior to arrival.

Check In

Check In time is after 2pm on the day of arrival.  Check out is 10am

Smoking

Definitely outside only

Animals

No animals allowed at Lazy Dayz.  Enquire for R&R Cottage

Number of Guests

A maximum of 8 people, including children, are allowed at Lazy Dayz.  A total of 6, including children allowed at R&R Cottage.  No tents permitted.

Cleaning

The hirer must leave the house clean and tidy for the next guest.

Loss or Damage

Hirer to notify Charmaine of any loss or damage.  Any loss, repairs or replacements will be charged to the hirer.

Lazy Dayz Only

Any damage or staining done to the sheets/linen due to the dyes or high fat/oil content of many tanning, body creams and moisturisers, will be commercially cleaned and/or replaced replaced.  These expenses will be charged to the hirer.

Keys

Guest will be advised of arrangement for keys prior to arrival.

Patons Rock is 11.5kms from Takaka township and supermarket.  See our Google map for further details.

Cancellations

Refunds are dependent on the time of year and how much notice is given.  If short notice (less than 21 days) but the days or part thereof can be relet then a refund will be given equal to the number of days relet.  No refund if the home is not relet.  An administration fee of $10 will be deducted.
